On the 8th (Sat), we invited Koritake Suzuki, the “Fish Prince of Reiwa”, to give an opening talk with the theme of the main message “The more you know, the more delicious the sea is.” On both days of the 9th (Sunday), in the “Umi no Gochiso Kitchen” area, you can enjoy 11 dishes from 8 regions that were developed with the aim of solving regional ocean issues with “food” and spreading them throughout Japan. increase. In areas other than Hakodate, only gourmet food that has landed in Tokyo for the first time can be enjoyed in Tokyo only during the Umi no Gochiso Festival. We sell marine products and special products related to the sea from all 47 prefectures, from Hokkaido to Okinawa.
There are also many unique collaboration products born from the “Umi to Nihon Project” project.

The “LOCAL FISH CAN Grand Prix” is a competition in which high school students from all over the country use LOCAL FISH (=problem fish) to develop and compete in original canned food that solves the problems of the local sea. We will introduce canned fish developed by high school students in collaboration with the local community, with attention paid not only to the taste but also to the packaging.
