J‍apan Summit Summer/Fall 2022 (Online):

On the day of the event, a total of 91 companies, including 64 domestic and overseas startups and 27 corporate partners and guest speakers, gave presentations on the results of the program and the appeal of their advanced technologies, services and products. At the end of the Summit, we selected the startups that received the most votes in each field and the corporate partners that provided energetic support from program construction to operation, with a total of 9 companies receiving awards.

The presentations for each industry theme are named “EXPO”, and the startup company that receives the most votes for each EXPO is commended. Winners will have the opportunity to travel to Plug and Play’s global offices, including Silicon Valley headquarters, and pitch directly to VCs and companies operating overseas.
*Whether or not overseas pitches will be held for the EXPO Winners, as well as the timing, are under consideration.

Program overview
Plug and Play Japan’s accelerator program aims to create new innovations by connecting Plug and Play Japan’s corporate partners with domestic and overseas startups. Through this program, corporate partners will be able to match with domestic and foreign startups that will accelerate their own innovation, and startups will have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of major companies. In addition to being able to obtain the latest information on innovation that cannot be obtained only in Japan, it is also a place for exchanges that transcend industry boundaries.
We use non-contact vital sensing technology to promote various behavioral changes from daily biorhythms obtained from biometric information, stress and health management of employees, drivers engaged in the transportation industry, online medical examinations, sports gym fitness, We are working on social implementation such as watching over the elderly. While joint research with various companies is progressing on new models that utilize this technology and the utilization of data generated from these, we will also promote overseas expansion with this award as an opportunity.
