[Background and initiatives of the partnership agreement]
In anticipation of an era of 100-year lifespans, it is becoming increasingly important to promote disease prevention and health promotion in order to extend healthy life expectancy.
In addition to working to extend the healthy life expectancy of its citizens, Seto City appropriately operates the national health insurance system, the medical care system for the elderly aged 75 or over, and the long-term care insurance system, which enable citizens to receive appropriate medical care and nursing care with peace of mind. We are promoting community development to support.
In addition, under the leadership of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, we are implementing measures for each municipality in an integrated manner to prevent diseases such as lifestyle-related diseases and their aggravation, and preventive care such as measures against frailty. Seto City is working on health projects such as disease prevention and prevention of aggravation related to
lifestyle-related diseases, and nursing care prevention projects centered on frailty measures.
However, there are issues such as the integration of various data and the sharing of project evaluation methods, and it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between each project and resolve these issues. Through this partnership agreement, PREVENT will support the efforts of Seto City based on the data-based policy making (Evidence-based Policy Making) that PREVENT has worked with local governments so far. We will contribute to the realization of community development where people can live energetically and healthily.
