Me-tele (Nagoya Television Broadcasting) has been broadcasting since October 2003, “I’m sorry for Udo-chan’s trip” has entered its 20th year since the start of broadcasting. From now on, Udo-chan will continue to provide a moment of fun to everyone in the area with his free will.
Thank you very much to all of you who love and support “Udo-chan no Tabishite Sorry” (hereafter referred to as “Tabi Gome”)!
So far, Udo Suzuki has traveled around 350 cities, towns and villages nationwide, mainly in the three prefectures of the Tokai region. Each of them will be a one-of-a-kind trip and will be engraved in the history of “Tabi Gome”. This is all thanks to the patronage of the people who took care of us in town and the viewers! Udo Suzuki and the staff of Tabigome will continue to do our best without forgetting our gratitude to all of you.

Q: What does “travel gome” mean to you?
A: “Life” and “Life’s Journey”. It’s the epitome for me.
Q: What has changed in 20 years?
A: After all, my physical strength has decreased. I rub my knees… but my passion doesn’t change.
Q: What is your unforgettable travel story?
A: When an elementary school boy on his way home from school saw me, he said, “You’re my favorite comedian.” Are you an adult now? Do you still love me the most?
Q: What do you want to try?
A: Tadataka Ino was 55 years old when he set out to map Japan, but I’m 52. I am a respected traveller. Basho Matsuo, Tadataka Ino, Kaoru Kanetaka… I want to walk in the same place.
Q: A word to everyone who supports us
A: Thank you for always supporting us. 20th year… I would like to continue this journey so that everyone can appreciate Nijumaru. I’m Udo Suzuki, who’s been hugging everyone on his back, but please let me continue to take care of him.
