[Yokohama City] Regarding implementation of future new corona vaccination
Due to the national policy of shortening the interval from the previous vaccination for additional vaccination of the new coronavirus vaccine, Yokohama City will accept future vaccinations and
reservations as follows.
In addition, in accordance with the government’s ministerial ordinance, etc., we will implement the following vaccinations for infants (6 months to 4 years old) with the new coronavirus vaccine. * This case is based on the premise that relevant government ordinances will be revised in the country.
* In the future, if there is a change in the national policy, etc., the plan will be reviewed accordingly.
1. Shortening the vaccination interval
(1) Vaccine type
Vaccine for Omicron strain
・Pfizer vaccine (BA.1 compatible type and BA.4-5 compatible type) ・Moderna vaccine
(2) Vaccination interval
More than 3 months after the last vaccination
*The vaccination interval so far has been 5 months or more since the last vaccination.

(5) Delivery of 3rd, 4th, and 5th vaccination tickets (12 years old and older) and the date when vaccination is possible
The vaccination tickets sent by the city state that they can be vaccinated five months after the previous vaccination due to the printing process until October 31st, but the date when they can be vaccinated is three days after the previous vaccination. It will change after a month.

*For the date of your last vaccination, please check the “Certificate of Immunization (temporary)” at the bottom right of the vaccination ticket form.
*If the vaccination information is not registered in the Vaccination Record System (VRS), the vaccination ticket cannot be sent. In addition, shipping may be delayed depending on the timing of registration, such as being registered just before the shipping date. If you do not receive an individual notification within a week from the scheduled shipping date, please refer to the city website and apply.

The implementation period for the special temporary vaccination of the new corona vaccine is until March 31, 2023.
