“OTAKU CULTURE STUDIO” is a project by A3 Co., Ltd., which uses NFT to excite Japanese anime.
It was announced that the second installment will be the manga “Cobra” by Buichi Terasawa, and the release date has been decided on November 16th (Wednesday)!

The second collaboration with Otaku Culture Studio is “Cobra” Cobras traveling the sea of space will now travel the sea of the net. What is “Cobra”?
“Cobra” is a sci-fi action manga drawn by Buichi Terasawa. It is a space opera about the legendary space pirate Cobra, who has a psychogun on his left arm, and his beautiful partner Armaroid Lady running around the galaxy.
From 1978 to 1984, it was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine “Weekly Shonen Jump”, and after that the sequel was published in various comic magazines. As of April 2018, the total number of books published worldwide has exceeded 50 million.
It is a big content that is loved not only in Japan but also all over the world by changing its shape in various ways such as animation, games and goods.
“Cobra” Animation 40th Anniversary!
This year, “Cobra” celebrated its 40th anniversary since its first animation. In 1982, the theatrical animation “SPACE ADVENTURE Cobra” was released, and immediately after that, all 31 episodes of the TV animation series were broadcast as “Space Cobra”. In 2008, as a project to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the original, “COBRA THE ANIMATION” was produced and released as an OVA. It was also broadcast as a TV series from 2010.
