Ai.Connect Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, CEO: Yusuke Matsunaga), which provides nationwide free internet service “I-net” for collective housing, and Ruijie Networks Japan Co., Ltd. Japan, head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, representative: Zeng Zhi) jointly developed an Internet system for collective housing that uses the unified high-speed home network standard “G.hn” for commercialization. We are pleased to inform you that the demonstration experiment conducted at the rental apartment in Tokyo where the system was introduced was successful.

Since there is no need to lay new communication wiring in apartments and condominiums, it can be installed in existing buildings where it was not possible to lay LAN cables due to structural and cost reasons. Providing a low-cost solution with high-speed and stable internet that is easier to introduce by reducing the personnel costs associated with home construction coordination, which has been a long-standing issue for the ISP industry.
The biggest feature of this service is that the maximum line speed within a residence is 1.7 Gbps (theoretical maximum).
