In commemoration of the conclusion of the agreement, we will carry out a helicopter sightseeing tour where you can enjoy the Aizuwakamatsu city area from the sky for a limited time.
Purpose of conclusion of the agreement
On-demand services using idle helicopters provided by AirX and Japan Flight Service, which has a base in the prefecture and plays a role in medical care in remote areas such as patient transport, will cooperate to transport personnel and supplies using helicopters in the event of a disaster. The agreement was concluded with the aim of securing various means of transportation such as transportation, utilizing it for patrols and collecting information on the damage situation in Aizuwakamatsu City, and contributing to prompt support for victims. Even in normal times, we will promote tourism promotion efforts and play a role in regional revitalization by implementing helicopter sightseeing that allows you to rediscover the charm of the city. This is the second case in Japan that a local government and a
helicopter-related business enter into an agreement not only for disaster prevention but also for tourism.
