Of the 300 people surveyed, 62.3% (187 people) answered that they purchased their new car from an authorized dealer. More than half of people seem to buy new cars from authorized dealers.
It can be inferred that many people are looking for a sense of security as an authorized dealer and full support.
26.3% (79 people) purchased at a car dealer, and the other respondents said they purchased on the Internet.

37 people (12.3%) answered 2 million to 2.5 million yen as the price range for purchasing a new car. The second highest number was 29 people (9.7%) with 2.5 to 3 million yen.
The range of 2 million to 3 million yen combined with these two seems to be the most popular volume zone as the purchase price of a new car. Q3. Please tell me the body type of the new car you purchased. (single answer) → Conclusion: Light cars are the most popular!
As for the body type of the new car purchased, light cars were the most common with 72 people (24%). Considering the price range of new car purchases, it is no wonder that relatively cheap kei cars are popular.
The next most popular was the compact hatchback with 44 people (14.7%), followed by the SUV/cross country with 38 people (12.7%). Survey summary
Through this survey, it became clear that about 60% of people purchase new cars from authorized dealers. In the price range of purchase, 2 million to 2.5 million yen is the most common, and it seems that mini vehicles are overwhelmingly the type of new car purchased.
