Kacotam
In order to continue to provide a stable place for junior and senior high school students to spend their time comfortably. Started recruiting supporters in the CAMPFIRE community.

Authorized NPO Kacotam (located in Sapporo City, Hokkaido; chaired by Yuzo Takahashi) is a place where junior and senior high school students can freely spend their time, “Junior and high school student open space Yurukichi”. , the CAMPFIRE community started recruiting supporters on November 1, 2022. Donations from supporters will be used to cover expenses related to the operation of “Yurukichi” (utilities, consumables, personnel expenses, etc.). The first goal is 140,000 yen per month.

A child whose learning support activities seem to be difficult to reach Since 2012, Kacotam has been working mainly in Sapporo City, Hokkaido, to provide learning opportunities to children who are unable to do so due to economic reasons or family circumstances. So far, we have provided learning opportunities to a total of 24,000 children. As we continued our activities, we came to see the following situations where the support for children was not sufficient.
● Children who find it difficult to demonstrate their strengths when learning subjects
● Children whose parents are not interested in education or cannot afford to be interested
● A child who has no place at home and wants to spend more time in a “place” other than home
In response to this situation, I wanted to create a place where children could have a high degree of freedom in interacting with their children and where they could come at their own will. In November 2016, we opened “Yurukichi” as a place where junior and senior high school students can freely visit.

By all means, as a “Yurukichi supporter”, let’s work together to create a place where junior and senior high school students can spend their time “relaxedly” with peace of mind, and where they can get the chance to take the next step.
We are also looking for ongoing donations to Kacotam, the operating organization. For ongoing donations to Kacotam, please see here (https://kacotam.com/donation/).
NEXT Goal: From 2 times a week to 3 times a week to 4 times a week… In the future, we aim to make Yurukichi a “regional hub for supporting children.” In the first stage, the relationship with the children who visit Yurukichi will be the main focus, but we will gradually promote efforts to enable Yurukichi to play the role of “connection” with local resources.
If many people can support Yurukichi together as Yurukichi supporters, we will gradually increase the opening days from twice a week to three times a week and four times a week, making it a place where people can visit more casually. I would like to continue
