■ Background of the opening of the Nagaoka office
In July 2020, collaboration style moved its headquarters from Tokyo to Nagoya with the aim of de-concentrating in Tokyo. While setting up the head office in JP Tower Nagoya, we have been promoting the operation of “distributed offices by function” and “telework promotion” in order to accelerate work styles regardless of location.
In January 2022, as a co-creative office that will open up the future of work styles, we will expand and relocate the headquarters office in JP Tower Nagoya, a place of co-creation aiming for regional
revitalization and social implementation through collaboration. Collaboration Base NAGOYA” has been announced.
Against this background, the new office “Collaboration Base NAGAOKA” opened this time has been promoted mainly for two reasons.
1. To support companies in the Chubu and Hokuriku regions, mainly in Niigata Prefecture, in reforming work styles, eliminating the use of stamps, promoting paperless operations, etc.
2. As a working base for collaboration style employees living in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture
In Niigata Prefecture, there are many headquarters of manufacturing companies that are active not only in Japan but also in the world, such as metal products, electrical equipment, and food products. By providing “Collaboration Flow,” which is the main collaboration-style service, to these companies, we expect to help promote employee work style reforms and promote DX.
Collabostyle also has an employee who lives in Nagaoka City. Until now, for employees who work from home, we have introduced a “home office support system” that allows employees to consider their homes as “each member’s dedicated office” and make capital investment without an upper limit on the amount of money. I have put power into reform. In Niigata Prefecture, where we want to strengthen our relationship with local companies, we will further expand this and open an office to create a business base and create an environment where employees can work comfortably.

■ Features of “Collaboration Base NAGAOKA”
The furniture of the Nagaoka office uses local Echigo cedar squares and laminated wood, creating an image of a space where you can feel the warmth and scent of wood.
In addition, we designed a pendant light inspired by the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, which can be imagined in Nagaoka, and a wall surface designed in the image of a road that has turned brown due to the iron that comes out of the pipes that melt snow from Nagaoka. In addition, the collaboration style is based on the idea that “a space created by one’s own hands is more attached than a given space, and is used carefully for a long time. This is true sustainability.” We are holding a workshop to prepare for the opening of the new office.
At the workshop held on November 1st, employees and related parties used plastering materials with straw in the image of clay walls that have been used for a long time in sake breweries and old houses in Niigata. I made
In addition, the furniture uses Echigo cedar square timbers and laminated timbers. If the surface gets damaged, we scrape it ourselves, making it an office that can be used continuously for decades.
