A delicatessen and cafe that plays an active role in various everyday scenes will open on December 3rd! “Booon” in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture
We will open a delicatessen and cafe “Booon” in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Our store is a delicatessen where you can freely choose seasonal deli, oven dishes, sweets, and drinks. In addition, we aim to be a restaurant that is rooted in the lives of local residents and can be used in various scenes of life through takeout and drive-thru support and the sale of household goods.

Based on the concept of Route-in Living, a restaurant that is active on a daily basis
Taking advantage of the epidemic of the new coronavirus, we are aiming to expand into new fields, and have planned to open a restaurant that contributes to the lives of our local Aichi prefecture. The concept is “Route-in Living / Routine Living”. We aim to be a restaurant that is naturally incorporated into the lifestyle of local residents (= route-in) and is used repeatedly (= routine) on a daily basis. For that reason, we have a wide range of lineups such as seasonal deli, oven dishes, homemade sweets, and original drinks. In addition to eating and drinking in the store, it also supports takeout and drive-thru (starting sequentially), making it a store that can be used in a variety of ways, from lunch and cafe use to takeout.
Enrich your life through Booon
Booon aims to create a store that is not only convenient to use, but also makes your daily life a little richer when you stop by. For that reason, we asked Kenta Nakatsuji, a chef, to develop a dish. We offer an original menu that can only be tasted at Booon, even though it is an extension of life with familiar ingredients. Nakatsuji has continued to participate in the team since opening, and the deli changes every month so that customers can enjoy seasonal ingredients. We also offer our own roasted and original blended coffee. We also sell miscellaneous goods that are useful for daily life and propose lifestyles.

After returning to Japan, he held cooking classes in Nagoya and Tokyo after working as an instructor at a cooking school in Aoyama, Tokyo. Active in media and magazines. Currently, he is active as a chef in the media of the Tokai area, starting the Italian cooking class “IL FIOR FIORE” in Nagoya. Building and graphic design to express the concept
Conceived from the concept, the building is designed as a store like a “path” that can be passed through. We aim to be a place where people naturally exist on the line of daily life and where people come and go. It is also characterized by a large store space of about 85 tsubo and a high ceiling that gives you a sense of openness like the outdoors.
The store name also expresses the concept and is named from the sound of cars running through. In addition, by including a traffic light in the logo design, we hope that it will be a place where you can temporarily stop walking in the life line. The signs and designs inside the store are based on the motifs of cars, traffic lights, people, dogs, and other objects along the way, creating a lively Booon worldview.
