-Shinkansen Opening Commemorative Event- November 26th (Saturday) “The 1st Kyushu Para Sports Tournament” will be held! Enjoy parasports in Nagasaki!
Participation is free and inexperienced people are welcome! Boccia is coming to Dejima Messe Nagasaki!
D-SHiPS32, an NPO, will hold the Prefectural Parasports Tournament, which is being rolled out nationwide, for the first time in Kyushu. When people hear the word “sports for the disabled” (para sports), many people have a stereotyped notion that it is a sport that only disabled people can do. Parasports are something you can enjoy. Why don’t you share “time”, “place” and “experience” through such para sports? D-SHiPS32 believes that sharing “experiences” is necessary for a symbiotic society.
■The event will be Boccia!
Boccia was an official event at the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. From small children to the elderly, it is a sport that even beginners can enjoy immediately. Let’s share “experience” in boccia!

《Regarding the tournament organizer: D-SHiPS32, a non-profit organization》 Representative Uehara retired after winning the silver medal at the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics. We are planning para sports competitions in various places where able-bodied people and people with
disabilities share the same time and place, and planning camps where families of children with disabilities can participate.

[Request for cooperation in donating to the “Let’s turn the money fund”] Our activities, including competitions like this one, are supported by everyone’s support. Donations can now be deducted for the “Prefectural Citizens Para Sports Tournament” and “Para University Festival” projects! We look forward to receiving your donations! !
1. What is the “Prefectural Citizen Para Sports Tournament”? There are various challenges in promoting parasports.
For example, the problem that sports facilities cannot be rented to people with disabilities, the problem that access is difficult due to the small number of teams, and so on.
Representative Uehara uses a wheelchair, and it is difficult to say, “Stand up and play basketball.” is a parasport.
This competition aims to promote a symbiotic society by creating places all over the country where various people can share time, place, fun and excitement through such para sports.
2. What is the “Para University Festival”?
This is a sports festival where each university becomes a
para-university that promotes para-sports, and universities gather to make para-sports a part of everyday life in Japan.
The executive committee and participating athletes are all university students, junior college students, and vocational school students. Ultimately, we aim to become a national university para sports league. We want college students to have many experiences, work up a sweat, laugh a lot, and make lifelong friends. The theme is “Let’s play para sports!”
We would like to use the donations we have received for the venue expenses and operating expenses of the above sports competitions, and we would like to increase the opportunities for everyone to enjoy them by spreading them all over the country. Thank you for your
