Haibara
In 1806, Sasuke I opened a Japanese paper goods store near Nihonbashi. Seventh generation now. Since its founding, it has consistently dealt with Japanese paper, and its flagship product, ganpi paper, was especially loved by writers and artists for its smoothness and ink. Exhibited Japanese paper at the Vienna World Exposition (1873) and the Paris World Exposition (1878), and was awarded a certificate of merit. In addition, it is said that he contributed to the development of letter culture by producing government-made postcards and ruled stationery during the dawn of the postal system. Shibata Zeshin, Kawanabe Kyosai, Kawase Hasui, Kawabata Gyokusho, Takehisa Yumeji and other painters have deep relationships, and chiyogami, stationery, and paper fans using their designs have been popular throughout the ages. Even now, while dealing with high-quality Japanese paper that has been handed down from all over the country, we maintain traditional techniques such as woodblock printing for gold seals and letter paper. ●Haibara company profile http://www.haibara.co.jp/
