Epson Sales Japan Corporation
Started collaboration with Caplan Co., Ltd. to support customer decarbonization – Visualizing office CO2 emissions and proposing CO2 reduction measures using inkjet technology –

Epson aims to “realize a sustainable and enriched society” with the purpose of enriching people and the earth with the value created from “saving, small and precision”. Faced with various social issues such as climate change and the novel coronavirus in recent years, Epson is focusing on reducing environmental impact and proposing solutions that lead to solutions for customers’ issues.
This time, Pasona Group’s Caplan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Masanori Ishida, hereinafter Caplan) will start collaborating to realize a decarbonized society and propose measures to reduce CO2 emissions to customers. I will come.
In this collaboration, we will focus on the amount of CO2 emissions from printing operations in the office, out of the CO2 emissions of customers revealed by the “CO2 emissions visualization BPO service*1” provided by Caplan.
This time, by combining this service with Epson’s “Printing
Environment Assessment Service*2”, we can clarify the details of emissions related to printing operations, and reduce emissions by switching to the low power consumption inkjet method. We propose the optimum printing environment together with the simulation results. In this way, we support customers’ CO2 reduction as an effective measure that can be easily implemented with immediate effect.
