This is a follow-up request from last year. Please support the heating and food costs necessary for Fuji Kachoen to survive the winter! Click here for details → https://readyfor.jp/projects/fujikachoen-dambo On November 19th, we, Fuji Kachouen, started a new crowdfunding campaign titled “[Part 2] Birds, flowers, and customers, a space that warms your heart and body.”
Asagiri Kogen, where Fuji Kachoen is located, has severe winters every year, and heating costs are essential to keep the flowers and birds warm. Last year, in 2021, when we were in the midst of a difficult operating situation due to the corona crisis, we took on the challenge of crowdfunding to support heating costs and bird feed costs.

Thanks to everyone’s support, Fuji Kachoen was able to safely overcome last winter and welcome spring, and many chicks were born. All the staff are sincerely relieved and full of gratitude. I’m really thankful to you. [First step] A space that warms the heart and body for birds, flowers, and customers.

And 1 more months to leave for 2022 years.
This year, too, the harsh winter has come in front of us.
In the winter of 2022, eastern Japan is expected to be colder than normal, and factors such as the weaker yen, higher fuel oil prices, and higher electricity bills are added, and it is expected that a large amount of funds will be required for heating costs again this year.
The number of customers at Fuji Kachoen has been steadily increasing since this summer, but the number of customers has not reached the number before the corona crisis. I am in a situation where I need your help.
Continuing from last year, I would like to ask for your continued support to overcome the harsh winter so that we can continue to provide a space that warms the hearts and bodies of the flowers, birds, and customers.

Usamaru team also participated this year
The impact of the corona misfortune is still smoldering. Fortunately, attendance is recovering, but it looks like it will take some time to return to 2019 levels. In addition, the price of heavy oil has remained high this year, and the rapid depreciation of the yen has also affected the cost of feed. Also, I have heard that there is still no outlook for the increase in electricity bills that will continue after September 2021 to settle down in the future.
Under these circumstances, we cannot provide flowers, birds, and customers with a space that warms their hearts and bodies in perfect condition with only our power. Therefore, I decided to take on the challenge again, hoping that I could borrow the help of everyone through crowdfunding.
Project overview: https://readyfor.jp/projects/fujikachoen-dambo ● Target amount: 5 million yen
● How to use your support: Heating costs, feed costs / 2 months During the winter, the heating costs for Fuji Kachoen are
approximately 1-1.5 million yen per month, and the food costs are 500,000 yen per month. Heating costs are required from mid-November, and heavy oil is burned in a boiler to heat the greenhouse for four months until the end of February, or until mid-March if it lasts longer. Of course, in consideration of the environment, we turn on the heating mainly at night when it gets cold.
As a rough estimate, the heating cost in winter is about 8 to 9 million, and the feed cost is 1.5 to 2 million. Due to the recent depreciation of the yen, high fuel oil prices, and soaring electricity bills, there is a risk that we will need a similar amount of funds this year, or even more than last year.
For that reason, we will first aim for a target amount of money for heating and feeding for two months in December and January.

By supporting the heating and feeding costs in December 2021 and January 2022, when the weather is the coldest and the number of customers is small, the birds of Fuji Kachoen can keep warm and eat full stomachs without worry. increase. Thank you very much.
