The SMA Innovation Study Group has been working to create human resources who will lead the “digital business transformation” that is the essence of DX. Skill standards are essential to develop human resources who can lead DX, but the conventional skill standard ITSS for IT engineers did not define the skills and tasks for business transformation.
“Wings II” announced by the iCD Association in May 2010 is the addition of the “definition of skills and competencies of human resources who move the digital world” necessary for DX to the conventional skill standard ITSS, and SMA In cooperation with the iCD Association, “DX Boot Camp (DX Business Producer Training Course)”, a training program for “DX Business Producer” human resources who have been active for a long time and who transform businesses using digital technology, is now compatible with “WingsII”. curriculum was renewed. This is expected to have the effect of accelerating the creation of human resources who can lead business transformation. In addition, this content will be introduced at the iDC Conference 2022, which will be held on December 13th and 14th, 2022.

It’s been a long time since we started working on DX, but we haven’t reached the “transformation of business” that is the essence of DX. One of the reasons is said to be the lack of human resources to lead DX. As business becomes more complex due to digitization, it is difficult to lead business transformation simply by “knowing digital”, and there are only a few people in Japan who possess this skill. Unfortunately, under the current business environment in Japan, such human resources cannot be nurtured naturally. Therefore, it is now necessary to develop human resources who will lead DX.
Until now, the skill set of digital human resources had not been defined as a skill set for business transformation, but the iCD Association announced “WingsII” and added “business developer” as a category for building a business. rice field. As a result, the skill set of human resources who lead DX has been clearly defined. DX business producers who lead business transformation need not only the skill set to build a business, but also the mindset to transform the business. This part is advocated in the “Mindset” of the “DX Literacy Standard” announced by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
SMA defines human resources who can lead DX and transform businesses as “DX business producers”, and refer to “Wings II” and “DX literacy standards” to conduct “DX boot camps (DX business producer training courses)”. )” curriculum and started a new initiative.
We also regularly hold “DX transformation leader lectures” to improve the motivation of human resources who lead DX.
