-Touch biodiversity and experience sustainable community development in the city-Held at Toyama Park, Shinjuku-ku, from 10:00 to 12:00 on Sunday, November 20, 2022
Neo Career Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ryoichi Nishizawa; hereinafter referred to as Neo Career) has collaborated with local organizations and students to promote sustainability in the region. A workshop for parents and children to think about how to work will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 10:00 to 12:00 at “Toyama Park” in Shinjuku Ward.
■ Thoughts on holding Neo Career
“There are not many children who have a clear image of working from an early age.” Therefore, Neo Career aims to support children’s careers by imagining working for children and thinking about how they can fulfill their wishes by working in the future. Insect workshop” has been held. Since it is very difficult to make children who have no work experience understand about careers, we chose insects as teaching materials for this workshop to deepen children’s understanding of careers and make it easier for them to visualize them. In the future, we will create opportunities to think about the work style that you want to draw in the future from the way insects work through continuous events.
In addition, in the workshop, we will touch on biodiversity by working on creating a habitat for insects before wintering, with the aim of experiencing sustainable regional development. Neo Career contributes not only to career education, but also to the conservation and sustainable use of Toyama Park’s biodiversity.
■ Workshop details
On the day of the event, we will create an opportunity for parents and children to think about people’s “work” through the way insects work, in conjunction with Labor Thanksgiving Day. In addition, we will contribute to the promotion of biodiversity in the city center by working to create a habitat for insects that are ready to spend the winter.
