Under Armor x White Ribbon Run official collaboration T-shirt that combines design and functionality, which is very popular every year. -run to empower women-
This year, we have created a message logo T-shirt to convey our passion for running. The material used is a lightweight charged cotton that combines the soft feel of cotton with excellent quick-drying and elasticity, which was very popular in the 2021 official T-shirt. The material is comfortable but not too sporty, and the clean design with the dark blue logo on a refreshing white background makes it recommended not only for running and exercising, but also for town use. To protect the life and health of girls in Ghana
Strengthen awareness-raising activities on sexual and reproductive health/rights (SRHR: sexual and reproductive health and rights) [Image 4d17711-91-31f5fd956ad22568536a-3.jpg&s3=17711-91-05d6f641153629307d146a5b0ca07e67-1536x938.jpg
White Ribbon Run 2023 will support young people in the Eastern Province of Ghana, where the rate of unintended pregnancies among teenage girls remains high among the regions where JOICFP has worked so far.
Lack of knowledge about SRHR is one of the main causes of early pregnancy. It prevents young people from voluntarily using
contraceptives and accessing SRH services for sexual counseling and testing. Pregnancy at a young age is likely to cause complications, increase the risk of maternal and neonatal mortality, and deprive women of educational and employment opportunities and hinder women’s independence.
▶ Strengthen the activities of young people (peer educators) who conduct SRHR awareness education activities in Ghana to prevent pregnancies at a young age
Donations from White Ribbon Run 2023 will be used for the following three activities.
01 Retraining of young people (peer educators) who carry out educational activities for SRHR in the community
02 Establish a system to support young peer educators by setting up a committee for local health staff, village leaders, and teachers. 03 Hold publicity events for young people at health facilities (implemented in 7 counties in target areas)
