Itoki declares LGBTQ ally! Awarded “Bronze” in “PRIDE Index 2022”! -Promote diversity and inclusion by creating workplaces where each and every employee can work energetically-
Itoki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato, hereinafter referred to as Itoki) respects diversity in terms of sexual orientation and gender identity, and aims to create a work environment where everyone can be themselves. LGBTQ Ally Declaration”. In addition, in recognition of our efforts to date, we received a bronze award in the PRIDE Index 2022, which is an evaluation index for LGBTQ-related workplace initiatives.
[What is LGBTQ]
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or It is an acronym for Questioning (queer or questioning), and is sometimes used as a generic term to describe sexual minorities.
[What is the PRIDE Index?]
This is Japan’s first workplace evaluation index for LGBTQ and other sexual minorities. In June 2016, the voluntary organization “work with Pride” formulated this policy with the aim of creating workplaces in Japan that are LGBTQ-friendly beyond the framework of companies and organizations. In accordance with each word of PRIDE, “Policy (declaration of behavior)”, “Representation (community of concerned parties)”, “Inspiration (enlightenment activity)”, “Development (personnel system and program)”, “Engagement/Empowerment (social contribution and external relations activities)” Five elements are indexed to evaluate each company.

Efforts so far
Based on the commitment of the top management, Itoki regards colleagues with various ages, genders, sexual orientations, gender identities, nationalities, disabilities, employment forms, work styles, customs, values, etc. as “diversified human resources.” We aim to enable each and every one of us to be “lively” and take advantage of our unique characteristics to demonstrate our potential.

About future development
