The best 20 plans of the 10th “Creativity, Infinity ∞ High School Student Business Plan Grand Prix” held by the Japan Finance
Corporation (abbreviation: Japan Finance Corporation) have been decided. (Attachment 1)
This year, the 10th anniversary of the event, the number of
participating schools reached a record high of 455, and the total number of applications was 4,996. From the 20 best plans that won the fierce battle, 10 groups will be selected as finalists in the future, and the Grand Prix will be decided at the final screening (scheduled to be held on January 8, 2023).
JFC will continue to work to improve the entrepreneurial mindset of young people who will lead the next generation, in order to increase the number of entrepreneurs and create a vibrant Japan.
■Overview and future plans for the “High School Student Business Plan Grand Prix”
【Overview】
・The “High School Student Business Plan Grand Prix” (sponsored by Japan Finance Corporation) is a business plan contest aimed at improving the entrepreneurial mindset of young people.
・In order to create a vibrant Japan and revitalize local communities, we need the power of young people who will lead the next generation. Since 2013, JFC has been holding this Grand Prix for high school students and technical college students (1st to 3rd graders) nationwide.
・Among participating schools, in addition to deepening business knowledge through business plan creation, comprehensive inquiry learning such as “the ability to think independently and find problems” and “the ability to think logically to solve problems” A case where it is tackled as is conspicuous.
・To date, a total of 79,583 high school and technical college students from 2,944 schools have participated, and some have become
entrepreneurs after participating in this Grand Prix.
【Future plans】
・December 1, 2022 (Thursday) Determined 10 finalists (to be announced) ・Sunday, January 8, 2023 Grand Prix will be decided at the final screening (*) The final screening will be held at the University of Tokyo Hongo Campus and will be streamed online.
