Beach rubber shoes with high-cut specifications that prevent sand from entering and have excellent durability. Beach shoes are one of the must-have items for frescoball players who travel around the country. It is the long-awaited start of handling.
The Japan Frescoball Association (hereafter JFBA, Representative Director Kenji Kuboshima), which promotes the communication design sport “Frescoball” in Japan, will start selling at the JFBA official online store from November 14th. We are pleased to announce that we have started handling beach shoes “HAMATABY” from Shibata Industry Co., Ltd.
The beach shoes “HAMATABY” from Shibata Kogyo Co., Ltd. have started to be handled this time. It is a model with a high-cut design that addresses the problem of “sand getting in”, which is a common problem with beach shoes worn by beach athletes. In addition, these durable beach rubber shoes (rubber marine shoes) are sure to be useful not only in the summer when the sand gets hot, but also during practice in the winter when the sand gets cold. The sole and the inside of the shoe are made with anti-slip specifications, making it a pair that considers the players’ every moment of play.

In the frescoball world, 2022 Japan Women’s National Team Sayaka Aoki (JBG (R) F Chiba Frescoball Japan Open 2022 winner) also wore it. Shibata Industry Co., Ltd. is a rubber manufacturer founded in 1923, and its head office is located in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture. JFBA hopes that many frescobollers will wear it and it will spread because it is close to Okurakaigan, Akashi City, which has become a mecca for frescobol.

■What is “Communication Design Sports” Frescoball?
Frescobol is a beach sport that originated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Invented on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro in 1945, it is now popular on beaches around the world.
The biggest feature of Frescoball is that it is a scoring competition in which two people facing each other do not compete, but cooperate to continue the rally. The competition time is 5 minutes, and the game is held at a distance of 7m. It is also said to be a “sympathetic sport” because of the way they cooperate to continue the rally. As of November 2022, 22 JFBA-authorized regional clubs and 1 official student group have been established throughout Japan, forming regional communities through Frescoball.
The Japan Frescoball Association was established in 2013 to let more people know about the appeal of this sport, and is actively working to establish local clubs in all 47 prefectures of Japan by 2025. I’m here.
