JSPO (official name: Japan Sports Association Shinjuku-ku,
Tokyo/Chairman Masatoshi Ito), which creates an environment for “doing,” “watching,” and “supporting” sports, will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022. And for two days on December 18th (Sunday), a sports event will be held at Juntendo University Sakura Campus to interact with foreign residents (Vietnam, Ukraine, Malaysia) through sports festivals. We are also looking for participants. [Image 1
Through sports, Japanese people and foreign residents living in Japan (Vietnam, Ukraine, Malaysia) can interact with each other, learn about the culture and sports of Japan and the other country, and develop local communities and mutual connections. The purpose is to create a diverse and inclusive symbiotic society.
Various programs will be held, such as sports festival events unique to Japan such as “ball throwing” and “big ball rolling”, “boccia experience” as a universal sport, language play of each country, and “ethnic sports experience” unique to each country.
In addition, four top athletes who have played an active part in international competitions such as the Olympics -Sports (planned): Judo, soccer, badminton, and rugby- will participate in the afternoon. Anyone between the ages of 9 and 65 can participate, whether as an individual or as a group of family or friends. We are planning to have content that will enable communication across language barriers, and there will be interpreters at the venue, so both those who can and cannot speak a foreign language are welcome!
If you would like to take this opportunity to exercise or are interested in international exchange, please apply using the application form.
