About partner regions
In this project, we are collaborating with Kamishihoro Town in Hokkaido, Fujiyoshida City in Yamanashi Prefecture, and Etajima City in Hiroshima Prefecture.
[Kamishihoro Town, Hokkaido (Population: 4,830 / Aging rate: 35.30% *R2 year)] Located in the northern part of the Tokachi region of Hokkaido, at the eastern foot of Daisetsuzan National Park, Japan’s largest national park, about 76% of the town is a forest area and a town rich in nature. In recent years, it has been selected as an SGDs future city and a decarbonization advanced area, and is actively working to create a related population.

[Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture (Population: 46,530 / Aging rate: 30.1% *R2 year)]
The city is located at the foot of Mt.Fuji, and it is very convenient to get to within two hours by train, bus, or car from Tokyo. The 1,000-year-old loom weaving is still firmly rooted, and the necktie production volume is the largest in Japan. In recent years, efforts to revitalize the industry have produced results, such as in-house products, factory tours, and the Hataorimachi Festival, which attracts 10,000 people.

[Etajima City, Hiroshima Prefecture (Population: 22,489 / Aging rate: 44.0% *R2 year)]
A town on the Seto Inland Sea, 30 minutes by ferry from Hiroshima City and 1.5 hours by car from Hiroshima Airport. Industry that takes advantage of the natural environment is thriving, and the production volume of oysters is second in Japan. 520,000 people visit annually for marine sports tourism.

Issues in collaborative regions
We will set the current issues of the above-mentioned collaborative regions below and work to solve them in this project.
・As the population ages, there is a shortage of local workers The aging rate is more than 30%, and the aging of the population is progressing nationwide. The issue is how to build relationships between the small business owners and co-workers.
・ Small businesses that are difficult to make upfront investment are divided due to the corona crisis
Small businesses that support the local economy have been cut off from connections with urban areas (restaurants, retailers, etc.) due to the coronavirus, so there is an urgent need to find new ways to connect. ・Efforts to create a related population are limited to consumption activities The number of people moving in and out of the area is increasing by improving telework and working to create a related population. On the other hand, since people are limited to staying in the region and consuming things and things to contribute, it is necessary to create a system and a framework for related populations to engage in production activities with local businesses.
About the efforts of this project
The specific content of this project is to build a local buyer program that allows local small businesses and related populations to work together, and to unearth the appeal of local people, things, and things by related populations and convey them in Tokyo. We will hold a limited-time POPUP store for sale (EC is also available).
