Course details
Lighting, like music, affects a more fundamental, psychological part of the viewer.
Lighting is not always noticeable in a scene, rather the audience subconsciously feels and reacts to the effects of lighting.
A picture that conveys the emotion of the scene is called a “good picture” in this lecture.
There are certain rules for “good pictures” in lighting. Let’s learn together the rules for making good pictures, using movies and paintings as models.

curriculum
■ Design is the relationship between form and content
When the content to be conveyed matches the way it is conveyed, it is possible to create images that remain in people’s hearts.
I would like to learn the basics of creating good images together. ■ What is a good picture?
We will mainly refer to lighting in movies and animations and see how the lighting is designed. We will also touch on the symbolic meaning of color in film.
■ Composite sugar coat
Since I learned the basics for creating good images in the previous two curriculums, I will introduce an example of a little sugar coating that I use in my daily work to add flavor to shots.
Target audience
Artist with 3-5 years experience in lighting & compositing
