Minna no Code Holds Online Event “Let’s Think About the Future of Information Education in Japan!” during Computer Science Education Week
~ Event to consider information education from the standpoint of government, local educational sites, universities, industry, recruitment of participants ~

Minna no Code (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Yuta Tonegawa, hereinafter referred to as Minna no Code) will be
implemented globally from December 5th (Monday) to December 11th (Sunday), 2022. In support of “Computer Science Education Week (*)” and “Hour of Code”, an activity to spread computer science education, we held an online event “Thinking about the future of information education in Japan.” Yo!” will be held.
Minna no Code planned an event for schools and educators to think about the future of information education in Japan.

Together with educators, teachers, and parents, we will discuss what roles are required of school education today, and how we should think and act for the future Japanese society that children will live in. I want to make it an opportunity to think. We look forward to your participation.
* Approximately 500 million children and students around the world participate in “Computer Science Education Week” held by the US non-profit organization “Code.org (https://code.org/)” every December. A global education campaign. Minna no Code, a certified partner in Japan, will work with IT-related private companies and organizations, school officials, boards of education, non-profit organizations, etc. to boost this campaign.
