The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka will hold several outdoor events from autumn to winter. All of them are planned to be viewed and enjoyed for free, so please stop by when you come to the Nakanoshima area.
■NAKKA Illumination 2022
From November 12th (Sat) to February 28th (Tue) next year, the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka will hold a winter illumination centered on the lawn square. The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka will be decorated with glittering plants and LED illuminations inspired by ships and water drops.
Period: Saturday, November 12, 2022 to Tuesday, February 28, 2023 Lighting time: 17:00-22:00

“Nacka Marche”, which was held in October and was well received, will also be held on Christmas.
We sell safe and secure foods such as freshly picked organic vegetables sold by farmers, fresh fruits delivered directly from the production area, sweets and processed products made with carefully selected ingredients. In addition, we will hold a fair that adults can enjoy along with the world view of Mr. Kenji Yanobe, the creator of “SHIP’S CAT (Muse)”, the guardian deity of Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka.

■ Towards an all-unknown world – GUTAI differentiation and integration | International Sky Festival
From November 15th (Tuesday) to 20th (Sunday), Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka will hold an aerial exhibition “International Sky Festival”.
The International Sky Festival is an exhibition held in 1960 by the Gutai Art Association (Gutai) on the roof of Namba Takashimaya in Osaka. Enlarged sketches by Gutai members and overseas artists were drawn, hung from advertising balloons, and displayed in the air. This exhibition is different from the content announced at the time, but it is the content that allows you to experience the exhibition in the sky. A total of seven advertising balloons will be hoisted from the roof of the museum, including works by former Gutai Art Association members Shuji Mukai, Takesada Matsutani, and Norio Imai.
