In recent years, as technology and demand for unmanned aerial vehicles*1 have grown at a dizzying pace, the Civil Aeronautics Act has been revised at an unprecedented speed. From December 5, 2020, when the date of enforcement of the law to partially revise the Civil Aeronautics Act, etc. was set, the national qualification system for unmanned aerial vehicles will be enforced.
In the future, the establishment of a national qualification system will make it virtually possible to fly beyond visual line of sight in manned areas, but on the other hand, safety concerns have not disappeared. Therefore, we believe that having children, who will be responsible for the future, learn and understand unmanned aerial vehicles, is an essential initiative to create a social environment that coexists with people.
The people involved are looking forward to seeing how the
participating children will develop an interest in new technology by operating the device while looking at the monitor screen and experiencing a bird’s-eye view. On the day of the event, a specially prepared curriculum was held by the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Piloting Skills Training Center, with 1 lecture session and 2 practical sessions. be.
