Grating member I-bar “Ripples” developed with a unique design by cold profile rolling is adopted in food factories and precision equipment manufacturing factories.
– Cultivate new demand through co-creation with Daikure Co., Ltd. –
Nippon Kinzoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President Yasushi Shimokawa, Securities Code: 5491) is pleased to announce that our grating member product I-bar “Ripples”* has been adopted by food factories and precision equipment manufacturing factories. I will let you know.
In addition to the need for strength and weight reduction, this product was adopted by many customers because of its cleanliness, durability, maintainability, and high slip resistance of stainless steel. Cold deformed steel with a random design by profile rolling is a proprietary product of our company, and the production volume has doubled with the adoption of this product.
In line with the vision of the 11th business plan “NIPPON KINZOKU 2030”, this product has been developed with Near Net Shape (= realization of complex molding processing close to the shape of the final product) and Near Net Performance (= performance required for the final product). By combining existing technologies with the key word “realized by materials and parts”, we aimed to capture the growth market and develop new demand.
*The I-bar “Ripples” is a product developed through co-creation with Daikure Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, President: Takashi Yamamoto, hereinafter referred to as Daikure), a general manufacturer of construction materials. Registered as a design product.

Outline of profile rolling
In our profile rolling, the material is plastic-processed by four-direction rolls (up and down, left and right) (see the figure below) to form any cross-sectional shape. The cross-sectional shape that was previously obtained by cutting can be achieved by rolling, so the time and cost required for processing can be greatly reduced. It is used in a wide range of fields, from the precision field to the construction field, mainly in the automobile industry.

  1. Neat blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?

A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog jump out.
Please let me know where you got your design. Many thanks
