Okinawa Heroes as a New Tourism Resource in Okinawa Prefecture First “Okinawan Heroes Festa 2022 in Nakagusuku Castle Ruins”
Nippon Travel Agency Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshimitsu Koyano), Seeds Live Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Miyoki-gun, Saga Prefecture; President: Seiyoka Shibuya), Next Heroes Okinawa Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Okinawa Prefecture) In collaboration with Naha City, President: Daisuke Onaga), as a project to support the development of tourism content in Okinawa in 2022, “Okinawan Heroes” will be held at the World Cultural Heritage site, Nakagusuku Castle Ruins, with the aim of developing new tourism content using local heroes. Festa 2022 in Nakagusuku Castle Ruins” will be held on Sunday, November 27th.

“Okinawan Heroes Festa 2022 in Nakagusuku Castle Ruins” will be implemented with the cooperation of Nakagusuku Village, Okinawa Prefecture and the Nakagusuku Village Tourism Association as a project to support the development of tourism content in Okinawa. It will be a demonstration project aimed at developing new tourism content in Okinawa Prefecture to attract tourists from inside and outside the prefecture by utilizing heroes who are active in Okinawa Prefecture. The venue will be held at the Nakagusuku Castle Ruins, a world cultural heritage site where the TV drama “Okinawan Heroes” was filmed. In addition to a hero show featuring heroes from inside and outside the prefecture, greetings and photo sessions with heroes will also be held. At the end of the program, there will be a special live performance by “Kiyama Shoten”, who sings the theme song of Okinawan Heroes, and “AKINA”, who sings the ending song. (Admission is free for children under 4 years old, admission fee is 1,000 yen for children over 5 years old)
