[Image 1

Docomo Bike Share, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Masanori Takeoka; hereinafter referred to as Docomo Bikeshare); NTT Anode Energy Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Teruyuki Kishimoto; hereinafter referred to as NTT) Anode Energy), NTT Comware Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masato Kuroiwa, hereinafter referred to as NTT Comware), NTT Advanced Technology Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) , President and CEO: Tadashi Ito, hereinafter referred to as NTT Advanced Technology) will demonstrate a system that automatically charges electrically power-assisted bicycles with electricity generated by green energy from November 8 to December 18, 2022 in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. It will be held in Chikuma City.
In this demonstration, we will introduce a system that charges storage batteries with power generated by solar panels (road pavement type and rooftop type) and supplies the power to the battery of an electrically assisted bicycle through a cycle port that supports contactless charging. We will verify the reduction of opportunity loss due to battery replacement and dead batteries, and the reduction of greenhouse gases generated from the operation of battery replacement. This will be the first time in Japan that solar panels on paved roads will be used for bicycle sharing.
In addition, by utilizing the monitoring/analysis system to visualize and analyze data such as temperature and amount of sunshine as well as the power generation and storage status, we will verify operability and effectiveness, and consider the possibility of using services other than bicycle sharing. I will continue.
