◆Overview
National University Corporation Okayama University (Headquarters: Tsushima Naka, Kita-ku, Okayama City, President: Hiroshi Makino) Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences Master’s Program November 9, 2022, “O-NECUS Program Autumn Seminar -Student Recruitment 2023-” was held online (ZOOM), with a total of 105 participants, including 82 students and 23 people from each university.
The master’s program (medical and dental science major) of the Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences of our university accepts many O-NECUS program short-term exchange students from our partner universities in the northeastern part of China every year. I’m here. With the cooperation of Harbin Medical University, Jilin University, China Medical University, and Dalian Medical University, the event was held online again this year. At the seminar, after a promotional video for the O-NECUS program was shown, Professor Toshitaka Ohashi, Head of the Master’s Course, introduced the graduate school’s O-NECUS program. Professor Hirohiko introduces the dental laboratory in the field of oral morphology, and Professor Hitoshi Nagatsuka introduces the dental laboratory in the field of oral pathology. In the Q&A session that followed, many questions were asked by the participating students regarding areas of education and research that match their desired specialization, language skills, scholarships, admission to regular courses, etc., and a lively question-and-answer session was held.
Despite the COVID-19 crisis, there were many participants, and the lively question-and-answer session showed that interest in the program was growing. We will continue to hold seminars in the future to attract excellent students and revitalize research exchanges. [Image 5

○About the O-NECUS program
The O-NECUS program was planned based on the international exchange agreements concluded between Okayama University and five universities in northeastern China in 2006, and was decided to be implemented as a university-wide graduate education program in 2007. I was.
〇International students (doctoral course) who have completed the O‐NECUS program For those who have completed the O-NECUS program (Okayama
University-Northeastern China Graduate School Exchange Program), we aim to increase the international recognition of our graduate school degrees by accepting and nurturing excellent human resources at the graduate school of Okayama University. We will recruit students based on the target system (doctoral degree acquisition system).
