Pixiv Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shingo Kunieda; hereinafter referred to as Pixiv) is an NPO sponsored by Charity Santa (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Natsuki Seisuke) to provide books to children. In support of the social contribution project “Book Santa”, we will hold “pixiv Novel Children’s Charity Project ~Book Santa 2022~”.

It is a plan to donate to charity Santa. This donation will be used to operate Book Santa and to purchase books for children.

We are looking for novels and essays on the theme of “Christmas”, such as childhood memories of Christmas and Santa Claus, experiences of Christmas as an adult, and stories about unusual gifts.
▼ How to participate:
Write a novel that matches the theme and post format, set the participation tag “Book Santa 2022”, and post the novel to pixiv. * Works that have the “Book Santa 2022” tag attached at 23:59 on Sunday, December 25, 2022 and posted after midnight on Saturday, January 1, 2022 will be eligible for donation.

A project started in 2017 by NPO Charity Santa in collaboration with child support groups and bookstores nationwide with the aim of “delivering books to children all over Japan who are in difficult situations.”
This is a charity program in which children all over Japan receive books from Santa Claus when they purchase books that they want to give to children at partner bookstores and donate them at the register.
