H2O Retailing and Loyalty Marketing Collaborate on Data Marketing We provide valuable information and services to consumers to improve customer satisfaction.
H2O Retailing Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Kita-ku, Osaka, President Naoya Araki, hereinafter referred to as “H2O”), which owns Hankyu Hanshin Department Stores, Izumiya, Hankyu Oasis, etc., and joint point service “Ponta”. Loyalty Marketing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Tsuyoshi Hasegawa, hereinafter referred to as “LM”) will collaborate on data marketing from late November. *Data will be analyzed and utilized in accordance with the Membership Agreement, the Personal Information Protection Act, and other laws and guidelines.
Collaborate by leveraging the platforms and know-how of both companies In addition to purchasing data at department stores and supermarkets, H2O will use behavior data obtained from the “customer service business” of the app service that connects 10 million people in the Kansai region, which is being newly developed, to monetize in B2B. We are developing a platform business. LM will support H2O’s platform business by utilizing Ponta’s data analysis and advertising operation know-how. In addition, H2O and LM will proceed with consideration with a view to building a business that utilizes the data of both companies in the future.
