When we conducted a survey on the behavior that the river would like the listeners to stop during the live distribution, the first place was “disturbing the comment section”.

After 2nd place, “comments on the personal information of the river” and “getting excited with listeners” followed, and “unrelated PR comments” came in 7th place.
1st place: Ruining the comment section
・I think that if the comment section is vandalized, I will miss many people’s comments no matter how many times I watch them, or I will feel uncomfortable watching them. (Female in her 20s)
・If the comment section is messy, it will create an atmosphere that makes it difficult for listeners who are seeing it for the first time. (Female in her 20s)
・I want to read as many people’s comments as possible, but if the same comment is posted multiple times, it’s difficult to find the comments I haven’t read, which is quite annoying. (Female in her 20s) The first place is “trolling the comment section”.
When the comment section is trolled, not only the person himself but also the people who see it feel bad.
2nd place: Comment on the personal information of the river
・It would be a problem if personal information is written with superiority just because you know everything. It is very annoying because it interferes with my daily life. (Female in her 30s) ・This is because the distributor himself may be conducting activities while hiding his identity. This is an invasion of privacy and may make you feel uncomfortable. (Female in her 20s)
・I would like you to refrain from other options, but I think that exposing personal information is the most dangerous, and I don’t think that information once disclosed will disappear. (Female in her 20s) The second place was “Comment on the personal information of the river”. It would be very troublesome if the distributor commented on something that was not disclosed.
3rd place: Excitement among listeners
・It’s a problem if you don’t know the topic, because it can be the reason why new listeners don’t enter. It’s troublesome because it can’t be read aloud if it’s repeated. (Male, 20s)
・I am grateful that you live streamed on Youtube and send comments, but other listeners commented on a certain comment, ignored the river, and got excited without permission. You will not be able to respond to comments. (Men in their 50s and up)
・If the live stream is the main stream and the listeners get excited, it’s unpleasant that the live stream can’t join the circle. Those who are watching without joining the circle are also coming to see the river, so please do not get excited in the comments section. (Male, 20s)
4th place: Create an atmosphere that new listeners cannot enter ・Despite wanting to have a lot of listeners listen and comment, if only people who have been there for a long time comment on the content, the number of listeners won’t increase, so I’m in trouble. (Female in her 20s)
・The advantage of live distribution is the cultivation of new listeners. If existing users have poor rapport with each other (old-timer appeal), the retention rate of new users will be low. (Male, 20s)
・If there is a sense of unity, new people tend to pull back, so I think it will be difficult to comment and they will drift away. The same thing happened to my favorite river, and I also stopped watching acquaintances who also liked that river for the same reason. (Male, 20s)
4th place: Comment on the bottom story
・I don’t know what is fun at all. It’s frustrating to see the listener’s selfish hobbies ruin the place where the liver’s values ​​and atmosphere are overflowing. (Female in her 30s)
・If you comment on dirty jokes, your impression and image may become obscene. On the other hand, it’s a bad impression to ignore, so I’m having trouble dealing with it. (Male, 30s)
・If you suddenly start talking without any context, it will be troublesome to deal with it, and if there are listeners who don’t like dirty jokes, it will be annoying, so there is a possibility that they won’t come next time. Even if there is a connection, only some people can get excited. (Female in her 20s)
6th: Malicious comments to other listeners
・Despite the fact that both the live audience and the listeners are trying to enjoy the place, it is because they are too unprepared to make malicious comments. Not only will you be unable to concentrate on distribution, but in the worst case, the number of listeners will decrease, and the motivation of the river will decrease. (Female in her 30s)
・I would like you to stop making such comments because they are very unpleasant and malicious. (Men in their 50s and up)
・It depends on the purpose of the live distribution, but if listeners get into unnecessary disputes, it’s a pity that other listeners will focus on that instead of the content of the live. (Female in her 40s) 7th: Unrelated PR comments
・Because I think that unrelated commercials are meaningless if you are not interested. I don’t think it’s good because other listeners lose their sense of unity. (Men in their 50s and up)
・Because you are misusing other people’s resources, rather than being a violation of manners, I feel that it is an act done by someone who has no common sense, and I feel malice. (Female from 50s)
7th place was the result of “unrelated PR comment”.
8th place: Other
・Continue to comment on the personal story of the listener. I want to make a stream that other listeners can get excited about, but I’ve had a lot of trouble dealing with comments about my love stories all the time. (Female in her 30s)
・I think that it is to gossip and speak ill of other broadcasters. I feel like this is the topic that makes all the people in the distribution system look the most disgusted, regardless of the river. (Female in her 30s)
・Leave the seat immediately after the live starts. If you realize that, the river may lose the motivation to continue the live. I think it can happen to a sensitive river, so I would like listeners to consider continuing to watch for a while even if they think they have stopped watching. (Female from 50s)
In the 8th place, “Other”, there were opinions such as “I keep talking about personal things” and “I don’t like to speak ill of other broadcasters.”
summary
When we conducted a questionnaire to 100 people, 36.0% of the total answered that they would ‘destroy the comment section’.
Also, as reasons for answering, there were many opinions that they felt uncomfortable just looking at it, and that they could not read other people’s comments.
Some people do things that annoy not only the broadcaster but also the listener. Don’t mess with the comment section during live streaming.
