A limited-time event “SHARE THE LOCAL Yamanashi” will be held from November 19th (Sat), focusing on regions and regions, and delivering the special products of each region and the thoughts of the creators! 2015 Built a kiln in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture
Created with motifs such as clouds and the sky.
The works and their colors, which are made by tatara making and hand-twisting, remind us of the night sky illuminated by stars and the scene of dawn seen from the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake.

Sun Moon Kiln / Ryo Mitsui
1981 Mr. Yasuo Mitsui, the first generation of Nichigetsu Kiln, opened the kiln in Nirasaki, Yamanashi.
Using a unique glaze created from the ashes of burnt branches of Kyoho, Peach, Lito, and Cherry trees from Yamanashi, the works express the rich colors of each tree itself. In this exhibition, we will introduce the works of Mr. Ryo Mitsui, the second generation of Nichigetsu Kiln.
