Sotetsu Rosen Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Kiyotaka Soga, hereinafter Sotetsu Rosen) will introduce the share cycle “Daichari” at the Sotetsu Rosen Tsukakoshi store from Tuesday, November 15th. We will let you know. In addition, it will be the first time for Sotetsu Rosen to introduce “Daichari”.
Mobility PLUS, which operates the share cycle “Daichari” using the share cycle platform “HELLO CYCLING” mainly in Tokyo, three
prefectures and Osaka Prefecture, has about 2,900 stations that are bicycle rental and return bases, and electric assist bicycles. Approximately 10,000 units (as of the end of September 2022) are one of Japan’s largest share cycle operators, and in partnership with various companies, we provide share cycle services as a means of transportation for the last mile.
Sotetsu Rosen operates community-based supermarkets mainly in Kanagawa Prefecture, aiming to create a supermarket that makes you want to visit again.
This time, by setting up a Daichari station on the store premises, we will propose sharing bicycles as a new means of transportation for customers who usually use the supermarket and residents around the store, improving transportation convenience. At the same time, we will contribute to the achievement of the SDGs goals by reducing the environmental burden.
With Mobility PLUS, we will create an environment where
bicycle-sharing users can use Daichari in a more enjoyable and comfortable way. We will continue to contribute to Goal 13, “Climate Action” and Goal 17, “Partnerships for the Goals.”

About using “Daichari”
To use Daichari, you need to download the “HELLO CYCLING” app. After downloading the app, you can use your smartphone or tablet to easily perform a series of procedures, from station searches and bicycle reservations to payments.
First time ¥130/30 minutes, extension ¥100/every 15 minutes, upper limit ¥1,800 (up to 12 hours. After that, ¥100/every 15 minutes will be added)

“Daichari” is a share cycle service that can be used anytime, anywhere with a smartphone app to make traveling fun and comfortable. The maintenance base “Eco Base” uses electricity that is virtually 100% renewable energy, and the electricity required for maintenance and battery charging can be used as an environmentally friendly means of transportation with zero CO2 emissions. In addition, 0.01 yen/KWh of power consumption is participating in an initiative to support environmental conservation activities, and users can contribute to environmental conservation by using “Daichari”. *1
Feature 1. The first 30 minutes is 130 yen, and the extension is 100 yen for 15 minutes, so you can use it for as long as you want. Feature 2. You can rent and return anywhere there is a station *2, so you have more options for transportation.
Feature 3. Since it is an electrically assisted bicycle, you can easily move around town and sightseeing spots.
Feature 4. Achieving zero CO2 emissions through the use of share cycles and contributing to environmental conservation activities *There is an upper limit to the number of bicycles that can be parked at one station.
