Startbahn’s first NFT project “NFT/Eternal Mass” by Mariko Mori will be unveiled for the first time at Art Collaboration Kyoto.

Startbahn Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Taihei Shii, hereinafter Startbahn) will launch Mariko Mori’s first NFT project “NFT/Eternal Mass” from November 18, 2022 (Friday) to November. It will be unveiled for the first time at the VIP lounge of Art Collaboration Kyoto (hereafter ACK) held at the Kyoto International Conference Center Event Hall (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City) on the 20th (Sun). In this project, we will express the celebration of harmony, fluidity, and connection in the post-corona era, in line with ACK’s curation theme for 2022, “Flowers of Time.” This exhibition can also be viewed with a general ticket by
participating in a tour conducted by Startbahn. At the venue, we will distribute the work Allowlist (advance purchase frame).

Since the mid-1990s, he has been attracting international attention, participating in international exhibitions around the world, and holding numerous solo exhibitions at museums. Major solo exhibitions include “Pure Land” (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, 2002), “Wave UFO” (Public Art Fund, New York, USA, 2003 / Bregenz Museum, Bregenz, Austria, 2004), “Oneness” (CCBB Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2011), “Rebirth” (Royal Academy, London, UK, 2012). The “Oneness” exhibition recorded 500,000 visitors, making it the number one exhibition visitor in the world that year.
Major group exhibitions include the Sao Paulo Biennale (2002) and the 51st Venice Biennale Arsenale (2005). Art Collaboration Kyoto (ACK) is an art fair held in Kyoto with the theme of “contemporary art and collaboration”. It is one of the largest art fairs in Japan specializing in contemporary art, and is characterized by collaborations between Japanese and overseas galleries, government and private sectors, art and other fields. The main venue, Kyoto International Conference Center, will have two sections, “Gallery Collaboration” and “Kyoto Meeting”, where works will be exhibited and sold.
