Swarovski brings a world of crystal magic to life at The Mark, New York’s renowned hotel, with decorations inspired by the classic holiday cookie, gingerbread.

Swarovski brings a world of crystal magic to life at The Mark, New York’s renowned hotel, with decorations inspired by the classic holiday cookie, gingerbread.
To celebrate the launch of this glittering façade, Swarovski hosted an intimate dinner on November 14th (New York local time). Celebrities, public figures and the media gathered at The Mark to join Swarovski CEO Alexis Nasard and Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert to celebrate the special moments of the holiday season.
At the dinner venue, the table was beautifully decorated with homeware from Swarovski’s “Signum” collection of tableware in collaboration with Rosenthal, and crystal decorations such as large nutcrackers and holiday ornaments.

The lobby will feature a spectacular gingerbread-themed Christmas tree and jewelry showcase to provide inspiration for the upcoming gift-giving season. Swarovski’s holiday installation will run from November 14, 2022 to January 7, 2023 at The Mark in New York. NOTE
The gingerbread façade features millions of toffee-colored Swarovski crystals, while the frosting and whipped cream pieces are made of fiberglass encrusted with hand-sculpted crystals. A giant candy cane and emerald ribbons frame the magical entrance, while a giant nutcracker in uniform stands guard.
The entrance will be lined with two gingerbread-themed candy carts selling hot chocolate and mega-lollipops. Standing 9cm tall, this candy is designed in the shape of a crystal in festive colors. The Christmas tree in the lobby will be adorned with crystal ornaments such as a gingerbread man, rocking horse, nutcracker, star and candy cane, while The Mark’s hotel façade will be reimagined in gingerbread style. I also stack holiday green Swarovski boxes around the pedestal to dream of gifts I might receive this year.
