3RD GLOBAL GASTRONOMY TOURISM STARTUP COMPETITION: Overview
The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) collaborated with the Basque Culinary Center (BCC), a world-famous culinary college in Spain, as an initiative to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in gastronomy tourism, the 3rd Gastronomy Tourism.・Hold a startup competition. Ideas for building a more inclusive, sustainable and resilient tourism sector to recover from COVID-19 will be rewarded. With the gastronomy tourism sector in mind, this year, we are looking for start-ups working on projects related to the three themes of “new technology,” “local impact,” and “sustainability and waste.” Finalists were announced in November.
