Only high-quality wheat from Shintomi-cho, Miyazaki Prefecture is used. In Shintomi-cho, which is located in the central coastal area of Miyazaki Prefecture, there are farmers who have been working on wheat cultivation as a side crop for rice for about 10 years. Seeds are sown in November, barley is trodden in December, January, and February to grow strong roots and grow, and harvested in May and June.
Currently, in Shintomi-cho, about 15 farmers have formed the Shintomi-cho Wheat Production Promotion Association. The barley produced in the town is carefully inspected by the JA before being shipped for use in bread and noodles, both inside and outside the town.
