Japan’s first retrospective exhibition! “Mary Quant Exhibition” 11/26 (Sat) – 2023/1/29 (Sun)
Turning 92 in 2022, Mary Quant is still one of Britain’s most beloved fashion designers.
She launched an innovative fashion for young women, led the youth culture “Swinging London” from England in the 1960s, and created a miniskirt boom.
This exhibition will focus on about 100 items of clothing brought to Japan from the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), along with small items, photographs, and videos. We will trace the activities and steps as an entrepreneur who opened up the times.
Prior to the opening, we will inform you of various latest information related to the exhibition.
