At Ski Jam Katsuyama (Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, general manager: Atsushi Yoshioka), we are pleased to inform you that a safety prayer festival will be held on Friday, December 2nd.

Acceptance of coverage accompanying the Safety Prayer Festival Prior to the scheduled opening of the ski resort on December 17 (Saturday), we will be holding a “Safety Prayer Festival” to pray for the safety of ski resort operations. Atsushi Yoshioka, general manager of Ski Jam Katsuyama, Mikio Mizukami, mayor of Katsuyama city, Akitoshi Inui, chairman of Katsuyama city council, and about 60 other guests. We welcome guests.
This time, we will take a look at the Shinto rituals, such as the Noritosojo performed by the chief priest of Katsuyama Shinmei Shrine, Masahiro Amadate, and the Kiyomeharai-no-Gi ceremony, in which the groomed snow vehicles and the slopes are purified.
