The main character is Shinjitsu Nazono, a genius boy with an IQ of 200 who graduated from Holmes Gakuen, an elite detective training school. Together with classmate Kenta Miyashita, “Mr. Average Score,” and Scoop Life’s newspaper club manager, Miki Aoi, they will solve “mysterious” cases such as the seven mysteries of school and urban legends with the power of science.
“I want you to solve the mystery of the paranormal phenomena that occur in various parts of Japan.”-Mami, Kenta, and Miki are asked by the newspaper reporter Ekoda to travel around the country. A yokai that steals shoes appears in Hokkaido? “Dragon God causes earthquakes in Fukui Prefecture?” Is this a natural phenomenon, or is it a “super-natural phenomenon” that cannot be explained by science? Even the truthful reasoning spreads. Then, in the second half, a mysterious organization appears to interfere with a development project in the local town of Hanamori, and the tension in the story rises at once. This time it is full of scientific knowledge related to nature and the environment. The newspaper series has been greatly revised, and the newly posted columns and bonus pages have been enhanced. The second part is scheduled to be released in February 2023.
