Deep sea light x O project challenges Tsuka Kohei’s early work! This work later developed into The Day the Atomic Bomb was Dropped on Hiroshima. This is Kohei Tsuka’s early work, and is the core of his work as an artist.
Mr. Kouhei Tsuka, a former teacher of Taiki Shin, the representative of Deep Sea Light, is the same author who raises universal themes such as righteousness, benevolence, love, discrimination, and war. While listening to Mr. Tsuka’s ironic words, which use the expression “I couldn’t die” instead of “I didn’t die,” half a century has passed since the premiere, and we, who live in the present, reconsider the world through this work. I would like to ask the audience.
“Is War Necessary?”
“Do we need a system that accepts war?”
It’s never a story of the past, it’s never someone else’s problem. Many civilians are still victimized.
Maybe one day my family will be included in that.
By coming into contact with Mr. Kohei Tsuka’s early works, we discovered the origins of Mr. Tsuka, who has created many
masterpieces, and furthermore, the deep sea = darkness where light cannot reach, which is the group concept of Deep Sea Light. unknown world. A world of possibilities. Yoto = light up. I would like to challenge this work from a unique perspective and use it as a foundation for future work creation.
