Minato Ward, Representative Director: Yasuhito Hoyamatsu) will announce the decision to hold a music charity live “LIVE EMPOWER CHILDREN 2023 supported by Dai-ichi Life Insurance”. This time, the 4th time, it will be held in a hybrid format of real venue and online distribution (free) in conjunction with International Childhood Cancer Day on February 15, 2023 (Wednesday).

Currently, 2,000 to 2,500 children in Japan are diagnosed with childhood cancer each year. Childhood cancer is a painful disease not only for children, but also for parents who watch over them. In particular, due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, the lives of children battling childhood cancer have been subject to stricter restrictions than usual, and the families watching over them are experiencing a great deal of pain and suffering.
LIVE EMPOWER CHILDREN says, “Entertainment creates children’s power to live. ”, started as a charity live to support pediatric cancer treatment from 2020. All profits from the performance and donations collected will be donated to some of the pediatric cancer base hospitals and pediatric cancer support groups. I’m here.
This performance has been held online due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection, but in 2023, thorough infection prevention measures will be taken and it will be held with an audience for the first time in four years. In addition, free online distribution will continue and will be held in a hybrid format for children in the hospital and those who find it difficult to visit the venue due to distance issues.
