As a result of a questionnaire survey asking, “What is important in choosing the right treatment for damaged or bleached hair?”

1st Place: Moist and Cohesive
・Because it is damaged, the hair is very easy to get tangled. For that reason, I especially want the ends of my hair to be moisturized and I think it will reduce hair loss. (Woman in her 20s)
・Because bleached hair is very damaged, I think it would be nice to have something that holds it all the way to the ends. (Female in her 50s)
・If your hair is damaged or bleached, you will be very concerned about dryness at the ends of your hair. That’s why I think it’s best to use a type of treatment that moisturizes the ends of your hair. (Female in her 40s)
The 1st place was “moistly settled”.
Many people said that their hair was damaged and easily tangled, and that they were worried about dryness due to bleaching.
2nd place Good texture lasts a long time
・Because it hurts so much that your hair is squeaky and dry, and even if you comb through it, it will get tangled or cut, and it will be damaged more. (Female in her 30s)
・The texture is important, and it is the most uncomfortable feeling when combing, touching, or tying your hair. (Female in her 30s) ・If you bleach your hair, it will become brittle and you will not be able to pass your fingers or comb through it, which will likely cause more damage to your hair. (Woman in her 20s)
The 2nd place was “good touch lasts a long time”.
There were many opinions that the hair was damaged and squeaky, and that if the fingers were not smooth enough, it would damage the hair. 3rd Place: Glossy
・If you feel dry, your hair will look damaged. So it’s good to have something that gives you a glossy feeling as much as possible. (Woman in her 20s)
・Damaged hair often looks dull and dry. (Female in her 30s)
・Because I think that hair with a strong cuticle is not damaged, I am worried about whether it has been repaired enough to give it a glossy look. (Female in her 30s)
The third place was “glossy”.
There was an opinion that if the hair is not glossy, it looks damaged, and if it is not glossy, it looks dry.
4th place: give a firmness
・Once damaged, it cannot be repaired. (Female in her 30s)
・When my hair is damaged, it dries dry and ends up in a vicious cycle of split ends and stiff texture, so I try to choose products that bring back the original firmness and stiffness. (Female in her 30s) ・ As I get older, my hair gets damaged, and recently my hair has lost its elasticity and stiffness, so I thought it would be nice to have a treatment that would improve it (female in her 50s).
4th place was “Give Hari Koshi”.
There was an opinion that if you give it elasticity, it will prevent split ends, and that it will become firmer as it ages.
5th: Suppress swell
・It is easy to swell with curly hair, and it is easy to dry because it is straightened. Emphasis is placed on treatments that can prevent dryness and suppress swells. (Woman in her 20s)
・Severely damaged hair will have a lot of swells in addition to dryness, so if it suppresses or improves it, it will make your hair look beautiful. (Female in her 30s)
・I bleach my hair once a year, and partly because of that, my hair is thick and prone to swells, so I choose treatments that can reduce swells. (Woman in her 20s)
5th place was “Suppress swell”.
There was an opinion that it is because it is easy to undulate because of curly hair, and because it is thick and easy to undulate. No. 6 Non-sticky
・It is important to replenish the nutrients and moisture lost by bleaching, and it is also important that it is smooth and not sticky. (Female in her 30s)
・The most important thing is whether or not it is sticky. I’m particularly concerned because I’ve had some sticky skin in the past that made it look unclean. (Female in her 30s)
6th place was “non-sticky”.
There was an opinion that the smooth finish is good, but the feeling of cleanliness is lost if it is sticky.
When we conducted a questionnaire to 176 people, 38.6% of the total answered that it was “moist and cohesive.”
Also, as reasons for responding, there were many opinions such as because their hair was damaged and easily tangled, and because they were bleached and worried about dryness.
If you have the opportunity to purchase a treatment for damaged hair, please refer to it.
