“Mataro Ningyo” is a long-established store that has been making Kimekomi dolls since its establishment in 1919. It is the only official successor of the Kamo doll technique, which originated at Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto, which has been handed down since the Edo period. A doll with a plump and dignified face soothes the hearts of those who see it.
The precious experience of participating in the process of carefully making such a “Mataro doll” by a traditional craftsman is a
once-in-a-lifetime gift from parents to children. We have received feedback from people who have actually experienced the process of choosing a doll’s kimono from among many fabrics, saying, “It was exciting!” The joy when the image is completed will be even more. It’s also nice to be able to tell your child “I made it like this” during the Doll’s Festival.

The meeting will use Zoom.
1. First meeting: Decide on budget and size.
We can handle 40 to 75 centimeters in width and 22 to 40 centimeters in depth. The budget is from 165,000 yen.
2. Second meeting: Choose the desired emperor and Hina dolls. Choose the type of face, the fabric of the costume, the decorative stand, the folding screen, and the tools while consulting with a traditional craftsman.
3. You will receive a report in the middle of production. It is OK to change in the middle.
4. Completed Hina dolls will be delivered to your home in about one month from your application.
10 year warranty. All products are made in Japan and are of high quality. The reasonable price and the sense of security made by skilled traditional craftsmen are unique to ONE HINA!
