At Cinema Sunshine operated by Sasaki Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, President: Takehiko Sasaki), ScreenX and 4DXScreen will be released at “Avatar: Way of Water” released on December 16th (Friday). A 3D version will be shown. This will be the first time for 3D screening on “ScreenX” and “4DXScreen”.

“ScreenX” installed in Cinema Sunshine Kahoku (Ishikawa Prefecture) and Cinema Sunshine Shimonoseki ( Prefecture) is the world’s first multi-projection movie screening system that projects images not only on the front screen but also on the left and right walls. Some of the 3-screen scenes that stretch out to 270 degrees fill the field of view in front of you, giving you the feeling of being wrapped in the image, and you can enjoy a deep sense of immersion.
In addition, the “4DXScreen” installed in Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro (Tokyo) and Cinema Sunshine LaLaport Numazu (Shizuoka Prefecture) has three wide screens of “ScreenX”, motion sheets that move forward, backward, left and right, and up and down, and water. This is the ultimate interactive attraction theater equipped with innovative special effects such as wind, scent, and flash.
This time, “Avatar: Way of Water” will be screened in 3D for the first time in order to maximize the immersive feeling of the movie in these two formats. (Only the front screen will be 3D, and the left and right images will be 2D) Please enjoy the ultimate visual experience that can only be experienced at a movie theater.
