What is the SHIFT project of the Ministry of the Environment? As the national movement to realize a decarbonized society
accelerates, small and medium-sized enterprises and business establishments that are not making progress in their efforts are receiving subsidies from the Ministry of the Environment that can be used for decarbonization. It is suitable to utilize the “Carbonization Initiative Promotion Project”, commonly known as the “SHIFT Project”. The FY2020 SHIFT project budget request is approximately 10 billion yen, which is more than double the initial budget for FY2022. It consists of two projects: planning support and equipment renewal subsidy, and it is a very effective subsidy for decarbonization that can also be used for the introduction of renewable energy equipment. In this seminar, we will explain the full scope of the 2023 SHIFT project and introduce how to proceed with decarbonization that can demonstrate the effect of subsidy utilization.
